A movie that is so true to its content !!!

‘Nimir’ starring Udhayanidhi Stalin , Namitha Pramod, Parvathi Nair and director Mahendran has been getting highly positive reviews for its beautiful story telling by director Priyadarshan and a very different acting performance by Udhayanidhi. The film which is being well received by all section of audience has Udhayanidhi Stalin playing a photographer and this characterisation has come in for a lot of praise for the detailed and realistic portrayal of it. ‘It is a huge respect’, felt many professional photographers who had earlier seen the film.

In accordance to this, ‘Nimir’ team recently had a special screening of the movie for all types of professional photographers in the city. The photographers who attended the show were pleasantly thrilled with the outstanding portrayal of a photographer’s life in the movie and appreciated and enjoyed the content of the movie and Udhayanidhi’s character and performance. They were also given specially designed gifts as a token of honour. Some of the renowned photographers/cinematographers who attended the show are R D Rajasekar, Robert, G P Krishna, Balamurugan, Karthik Raja, CJ Rajkumar, Armstrong, S R Sathish Kumar and Kichas.

Talking about this director Priyadarshan says, “ Legendary cinematographer Vincent master has been my biggest inspiration in my life. Mainly because of him I started loving and respecting photographers and cinematographers even more. I dedicate this movie to him and thank iconic director Mr.Bharathiraja who taught me how important nativity is for a movie “

It must be noted that ace cinematographer PC Sriram attended this special screening of ‘Nimir’ and enjoyed the movie.

‘Nimir’ is produced by Mr. Santhosh T Kuruvilla and stars Samuthirakani, M S Baskar and Shanmugaraj in important supporting character roles. The cinematography of ‘Nimir’ is done by Ekambaram, music is done by Ajaneesh Loknath and Darbuka Siva, editing by Aiyappan Nair M S and art direction is done by Mohandas.
