Isha, a short film produced under the banner “Om Shri Sai Films” and directed by new comer Uma Shankar. A, has won the “the special festival mention award” at the 6th Delhi Shorts International Film Festival held last week. It is to be noted that this short film has earlier received a certificate of excellence at the 7th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. Music Director Guru Kalyan, Cinematographer Christopher Joseph, Editor Sarathy also received the certificate of excellence.
This short film is now evolving as a full length feature film titled “Kural 146” Directed by Uma Shankar in Guru Kalyan’s music. The song composing work is in progress.
Uma Shankar considers this as a recognition for his script in an international forum and looks forward to his career as a Director in the film industry.
