Sibiraj starrer “Walter” went on floors with its shoot offering an exciting scenario owing to its significance of title. Of course, Sibiraj’s father Sathyaraj had an amazing spell of exhibiting his prowess performance through this unforgettable role of ‘Walter’ in his yesteryear magnum opus. However, the film had its unexpected run into the controversial grounds over the title issues. Now the entire team looks completely happy over clearing such issues and gaining the title ‘Walter’ for their movie now.
Producer Prabhu Thilak says, “We wanted to title this film as ‘Walter’ owing to the significance of Sibiraj father Sathyaraj sir’s all time blockbuster movie. Unfortunately, we had to go through some hiccups pertaining to the title and finally, we are happy to announce that such cloudy scenarios have been cleared off now. Currently, the shooting of ‘Walter’ is going on full swing across the backdrops of Kumbakonam – The Temple Town of Tamil Nadu. Director Anbu has packaged this crime thriller with bunch of interesting elements, which surprised me as an audience while listening to the script. His basic idea of shooting a crime-thriller in Kumbakonam itself struck my attention as this land is known for shooting family entertainers and Rom-Coms. I am excitedly looking forward to see the final output of this film, especially for the top performers like Samuthirakani sir being a part of it.”
Shirin Kanchwala, who has become the heartthrob of season with her appearance in “Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja” is playing the female lead role opposite Sibiraj in this film, which is produced by Dr. Prabhu Thilak and Shruthi Thilak for 11:11Productions. Apart from the fact that the film has a scintillating narration with twists and turns, producer Prabhu Thilak affirms that the action sequences choreographed by Ratsasan fame Vicky will be yet another highlighting stud of this film. The makers are now holding talks with a prominent filmmaker of our region to play the baddie and the official word on this will be out anytime sooner.
