The season of Atharva finds itself stretched into longer phase now with relentless announcements. His much awaited ‘Boomerang’ finds an official citation of release from the makers now. This racy action thriller directed and produced by R Kannan will have its worldwide release in September. Filmmaker Kannan stands high on all praises for his entire team for making the process glide smooth from beginning till end.
“It might be a regular paradigm of credits showered on a filmmaker-producer for proper planning and execution. But according to me, it’s the entire team of ‘Boomerang’ that deserves it. Their firm belief in me made the entire process proceed smoothly. If not for them, the completion of Boomerang as planned on time would have not been possible.”
Sharing his words on the voracious involvement of actors, Kannan says, “To find an actor like Atharva is a real bliss to any filmmaker and producer. In this manner, I am someone bestowed with dual bonanzas as director-producer. The female lead actors – Megha Akash and Induja were so much concerned in giving an upgraded performance in every frame. Upen Patel was no exception as he delivered every act with nuance.”
Director Kannan is producing Boomerang for Masala Pix with Radan composing music. Cinematographer Prasanna Kumar is handling cinematography and RK Selva on editing. Megha Akash, Induja, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Upen Patel, Satish and RJ Balaji will be seen in important roles.
