Apart from all the other genres, ‘COMEDY’ genre will always have a special welcome from Tamil audience. ‘PATHUNGI PAAYANUM THALA’, produced by Ameena Hussain under the banner ‘MEDIA PASSION PRODUCTIONS’ is one such film, which falls under the out-and-out comedy entertainer category. Directed by debutante SP Moses Muthupandi, who has earlier assisted for SA Chandrasekar and Seeman, the comedy galatta ‘PATHUNGI PAAYANUM THALA’ has ‘Burma’ Michael in the male lead. While Vela Ramamurthi plays an important role, Singapore Deepan, Rahul Thatha, Singampuli takes over the comedy track. The film also includes RNR Manohar and MS Baskar in the Jocular-Antagonist roles.
Initially, the film was scheduled for 53 days, but the director has completed the whole shoot in just 45 days which has impressed the producer very much. It is to be noted that the censor board has given a clean ‘U’ certificate for the film and also appreciated the efforts taken by the team. It can be clearly said that the film ‘PATHUNGI PAAYANUM THALA’ will be thoroughly enjoyed by Children and by the family audience.
The Audio launch of ‘PATHUNGI PAAYANUM THALA’ was recently held in a grand manner, and a single track, titled ‘MAAMANA MACHANA’ that was released by Vijay Sethupathi has now crossed more than 10 L views on Facebook. Vijay Sethupathi also appreciated the entire team of ‘PATHUNGI PAAYANUM THALA’ for their sincere efforts. The lyrics of this single track was Penned by Director SP Moses Muthupandi and sung by Anthony Dasan. The traler and the songs were much appreciated by the most of the celebrities who took part in the music launch. The film is well bounded with a bunch of talented technicians that includes cinematographer Rowin Baskar, Music Director Vallavan Chandrasekhar and Editor Manoj.
