Aparna Balamurali marks her Tamil debut through ‘8 THOTTAKKAL’

Whether it may be the teaser or it may be the scintillating songs, it has to be said that the film ‘8 THOTTAKKAL’ is gradually increasing the expectation level of the Audience, especially when the rhythmic master Yuvanshankar Raj has bagged the musical rights of the film. It is a must to say that the mind blowing promotional strategies for the film is creating waves in all over Tamilnadu. Produced by M. Vellapandiyan under the banner ‘Vetrivel Saravana cinemas’ jointly with I B karthikeyan of ‘BIGPRINT Pictures’, the new-age -cop thriller ‘8 Thottakkal’ is directed by debutante Sri Ganesh, former assistant of Director Mysskin. The sharp-edged ‘8Thottakkal’ that has debutante Vetri and Aparna Balamurali of ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ fame in the lead will be released on April 7th by Sakthivel under the banner ‘Sakthivel Film Factory’.

“I am very much happy to step into the Tamil film industry through ‘8 Thottakkal’, which is well built up by a young and energetic team. I play as a Journalist named Meera Vasudevan, who wants to live independently. Our Hero is a very silent person and I am the one who will be moving friendly with him during his bad times. But my character not stops here; it moves in a different track which will be far away from the Audience’s expectations. Apart from acting, I have sung a song too called ‘Manipaaya’, composed by KS Sundaramurthy, and I am glad to know that the song is receiving positive comments from the Audience” says Aparna Balamurali, the female lead of ‘8 THOTTAKKAL’ enthusiastically.
