Divo completing 3 years Tamil digital and music space

As the evolving digital media takes its space in the hands of millenials, urbal, rural, etc., Users from all parts and landscapes are converging on it. It is with this vision, Divo was formed and with the sole intention to help content producers/creators to help use the platform in a way they monetize, distribute efficiently and transparently.

With Divo completing 3 years in the Tamil digital and music space, 2016 was another year for growth, achievements and laurels.

As a YouTube Network we crossed a landmark 1 Billion views, and monthly 100 million views mark. All this from Tamil content and audience, and we are still at start of the online video journey.

In the space as digital & music partner, the year has truly come full circle starting the year with our collaboration with Gautham Menon & Ondraga Entertainment with THE biggest hit #Thallipogathey from #AYM and now #Maruvaarthai from ENPT. It still is a dream as a fanboy buying cassettes of AR Rahman’s albums, to releasing his album for the world ourselves.

Some of our notable releases include Pichaikkaran with Vijay Antony, whose hard work and commitment to his trade as a producer, actor, music director, gave us the complete online and music marketing opportunity. Despite the album not having his usual commercial HIT type song, we got Pichaikkaran to get his highest rotations since 2012, and our brain storming session with him and Director Sasi resulted in the now viral Pichaikkaran in theater video. Other notable releases include Joker, Amma Kanakku, Devi, Jackson Durai, Ennaku Innoru Peru Iruku, , Enaku Vaaitha Adimaigal.

Our collaboration with Yuvan Shankar Raja resulted in releases of Yaakkai, Nenjam Marapathillai, Taramani (via JSK Film Corporation), and much more to come next year, as we look to work with Yuvan beyond music releases.

We also recently ventured into the Kannada industry thanks to good words from our clients in Tamil industry. Collaboration with the blockbuster Kirik Party and upcoming releases of Raghu Dixit is something we look forward in diversifying our audience and market.

Movie marketing campaigns, social media management for our celebs, production houses, brands outside of Media continue to grow with marquee names of South India joining our digital network.
