I Felt Goosebumps While Composing Bgm For Vsp Scenes – Music Director Cs Sam

Composing music for a thriller film will be really a tougher task for any Music Directors and in the case of Debutante composers, it is challenging too.  Debutante Music Director CS Sam, the composer of Vijay Sethupathi – Gayathrie starrer ‘Puriyaatha Puthir’ which is all set to release on 13th January has gained appreciations from the Audience, especially for his medley tracks. Directed by debutante Ranjit Jeyakodi, the Psychological Thriller, ‘Puriyaatha Puthir’ is produced by Rebel Studios and Distributed by J Satish Kumar under the banner JSK Film Corporation.
“I think ‘Puriyaatha Puthir’ is the best film for me to launch myself as a Music Director in Tamil Film Industry. I am very much glad that the songs of our ‘Puriyaatha Puthir’ has already received good response from Music Lovers.
Composing BGMs for Vijay Sethupathi sir is simply mind blowing. In fact I felt the Goosebumps while composing the background scores for him. Normally the actors will get the script with dialogues, but Director Ranjit Jeyakodi has given me a separate script, in which the name of the instruments that are to be used will have been mentioned. Since music plays a vital role in the film, we have used the BGMs only where it is needed, because, at certain times silence speaks more than words. We are receiving exciting talks and appreciations from those who have watched ‘Puriyaatha Puthir’, and it obviously raises our nervousness because we are eagerly waiting for the Audience’s response too. January 13 is a big day for all of us.” says Music Director CS Sam in a confident tone.
