The event of press meet was conducted in T.Nagar at Hotel Benz Park, Chennai on 13th May 2016. Mr. Selvakumar-President, World Tamil Chamber of Commerce launched Rs 1 Crore Scholarship with the Dignitaries of Mr.John Christopher, Mrs.Kavitha, Prof Kanagaraj & more.
Mr.John Christopher, MD of Cornerstone’s speech followed where he spoke about the universities in Australia where two years can be studied in India and the rest two years in abroad thus saving time, money at the same time getting exposure as well as earning money simultaneously. In this way they can return the loan availed in an easy manner. He also spoke about the practical course where people can learn while studying. He explained about the bridging course where any student can change to any field of interest through 6 months bridging rate where a student can start earning minimum 18 lakhs minimum. Where the universities offer 25 lakhs available only in this education fair.
Next spoke Mrs. Kavitha from Chennai’s Amritha School of Hotel Management, first expressed her proudness to be a part of this fair. She explained about the college and the scholarship available in the esteemed institution for economically backward and to meritorious students.
Mr.Kanagaraj, Chairman of Jaya Engineering College specified the importance of changing the Indian syllabus system & stressed the importance of practical education. He mentioned that the fair would be of huge important to Indian middle class parents who want their kids to study abroad to get good exposure. He mentioned about John Christopher’ s speech and importance of studying abroad.
The laureate mentioned the importance of engineering and how engineers are making history in todays world. From the fair every student sure had something to take it back to home.
