Popular Director Agathiyan’s daughter Vijayalakshmi who was seen playing vital roles in movies like Chennai 6000028 and Anjaadhe, has now not only donned the producer hat but also interestingly a lyricist one !!!
“Pandigai” starring Krishna and Anandhi, produced by ‘Tea time talk’ and distributed by ‘Auraa cinemas’ , is directed by debutant Feroz and the Music is done by R H Vikram. Intetesting trivia is that Vijayalakshmi has wrote the lyrics for one of the songs.
Director Feroz says, ” Vijayalakshmi has always had passion for writing poems. Many of her poems have impressed many in our circle. When we were looking out for a lyricist for a particular track in PANDIGAI , she came forward and asked if she could write the lyrics. After trying out few lyricist and not satisfied with them, I have a nod for vijayalakshmi to go ahead. I must say the output she came up with was just brilliant !!! But it was not surprising. This song titled ‘adiyae’ has come out wonderfully well. Both myself and RH Vikram loved it. The tune- lyric sync and situation-lyrics sync was just spot on. The excitement of the song is now spilled over the project too. The huge amount of expectations that had raised towards the release of “Pandigai” makes me more responsible. July 7th the release date of “Pandigai” will provide the much expected festive mood to the movies that are content oriented.
