After a dream run in the past in Tamil Cinema, having made blockbuster films like Raja Rani, Kaaka Muttai, Engaeyum Eppothum, Cuckoo and Mundasupatti, Fox Star Studios is back with 4 back to back films in Tamil. The studio has again collaborated with ace directors cum producers AR Murugadoss, Vetrimaran, Atlee & has also tied up with actor Vishnu, with a promise of sure shot and power packed entertainers in the next 3 months.
Audiences will be in for a treat with exciting films in different genres like horror comedy Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae (19th May) co-produced by ace director turned producer Atlee, action drama Rangoon (9th June) produced by multi award winner AR Murugadoss and political satire Annanukku Jai (7th July) produced by national award winner Vetrimaaran. Fox Star Studios is also distributing Vishnu’s family comedy Katha Nayagan on 23rd June.
Most Tamil films from Fox have been with first time directors, (Raja Rani’s Atlee, Kakka Muttai’s Manikandan, Engeyum Eppothum’s Saravanan etc.) and the studio is continuing the tradition and faith in nurturing new and exciting talent with its upcoming films as well- .
